"It’s so crazy to me how we in the church can all say we believe the same thing, but we absolutely are not on the same page, when we disagree about so many things that are going on in the world right now. That disunity, that racial disunity, is one of the things that is unquestionably grieving the Holy Spirit right now. And the Holy Spirit grieves because he’s not being allowed to do the work he wants to do in God’s people. We’ve hindered ourselves. Our disunity has hindered the potential of the church to fully impact the world. It’s almost as if the Body of Christ decided to amputate itself, and so all the members are split off, cut off, doing their own thing, so that in the end, no one is paying attention to anything. Christ’s Body is so fragmented, and it’s only the humble that will be able to put it back together."
